Tiny Homes Are on the Rise Written by Trehel Corp., June 30th, 2016 With the tiny home movement growing in popularity, these quaint dwellings are popping up all over the country, even in Seneca, SC. As part of The Pier Phase 4 expansion, Trehel is constructing a new and a unique concept for student housing. These small, economical homes allow individual students to have their private space while still living within a thriving college community. Each tiny home features one bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen/living area, along with a front porch and even its own front yard. In addition to the thirty-three tiny homes under construction, the $7.6 million project includes construction of thirteen cottages and four townhome buildings with a completion date scheduled for mid-August. Signature Architects of Clemson, SC provided architectural design services and Tom Winkopp Realtor/Developer, LLC is the project developer. Our Trehel construction project supervision team consists of Tim Murphy, Project Manager, Brian Friddle, Project Superintendent and Chuy Rivera, Project Superintendent.
