Through the years, Trehel has been blessed to construct numerous worship facility projects throughout the region, ranging in both size and scope. We recently completed the single largest contract ministry-related project in our more than 36-year history for Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church.
The Mill expansion project included a new modern two-story addition with 90,671 square-feet of worship, gathering spaces, and classroom space. Amenities and features for the 2,046-seat sanctuary, included special consideration in the design process related to sightlines for each seat, theatrical lighting, custom-designed sound system and acoustics, and 60′ wide LED projection screen.
Scope of work for the project also included state-of-the-art classrooms, small group areas, flexible meeting space, expansive two-level gathering space called “The Concourse” and extensive sitework for expanded parking.
Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church held a special Dedication and Recognition Ceremony on Sunday, May 5, to celebrate the completion of the worship facility. Our Trehel project team consisting of Will Huss, President and CEO, John Cox, VP and Senior Project Manager, Andrew Lewis, Project Engineer, Jim Davis, Project Superintendent, and Fedor Sakalosh, Foreman were recognized for their contributions to this truly fantastic project. Paul Zugg with Signature Architects of Clemson, SC, who provided architectural design services for the project, was also recognized during the ceremony.
Trehel and our design-build team were honored to work with the members of The Mill and experience this journey of faith together.
