Project Scope: Trehel has partnered with KeyMark to construct their new corporate office in Liberty, SC. The modern designed steel-framed building features an exterior veneer of brick and hard coat stucco. The scope of work for the project included extensive site work for expanded parking, outdoor gathering space, landscaping, and storm drainage. The new facility accommodates up to 110 employees and features many technology enriched amenities, including; office and collaboration spaces, state-of-the-art conference and training facilities, wellness center and locker rooms, an employee break room and an indoor/outdoor covered patio with an outdoor fireplace.

Project Scope: Trehel provided construction services for the new mixed-use building that will serve as the new headquarters for Trehel and the marketing agency Cargo with additional space for multiple tenants. The adaptive re-use project of the 1950’s building consisted of adding two additional floors built above the existing structure, which was once an old A&P grocery store. Scope of work for the project included extensive site work for underground detention, additional parking featuring 118 spaces, and landscaping.

Project Scope: Trehel provided CM@Risk preconstruction and construction services for the new Hamilton Career and Technology Center located in the Oconee Industry and Technology Park in Oconee County. The facility provides vocational type training for the high school age students attending schools within the Oconee County school system.
The building also features a multipurpose room that is available for rent by the public and used for other school district functions. Strategically located adjacent to the Tri-County Oconee campus and situated within the Oconee Industry and Technology Park, the new center provides workforce development and encourage collaborative industry and community involvement with programming.

Project Scope: Trehel constructed a new four-story Abernathy Hotel which is located one block from Frank Howard Field, Clemson University’s football stadium. The new facility features 41 rooms, and include oversized, modern single bedroom accommodations with kitchenettes and living space to accommodate larger families. For business travelers, a board room is available for meetings and events.

Project Scope:
Over the past several years, Clemson Eye has experienced significant growth in the Upstate region of South Carolina, and Trehel has been privileged to construct several of their facilities. The new single-story facility was designed in the Regency style and features a traditional wood-frame structure with a stucco exterior finish.
Amenities for the new facility will include a waiting lobby, exam rooms, optical shop, staff lounge, and resting room for Aesthetic services. Additional scope for the project features sitework services for parking, sidewalks, water detention, and landscaping.

Project Scope: The Advent project consists of a newly constructed sanctuary, gathering space, and music/office suite. All these areas are contained under one roof structure and attach to the existing education building. The 9,075 square-foot sanctuary features a 65-foot tall, heavy timber truss roof system, wood ceiling, and sloped floor with a seating capacity for seating for approximately 700 members. The pulpit area is surrounded by a stone chancel wall with a 21-foot-tall back-lit custom-made heavy timber cedar cross.

Project Scope: Trehel helped transform a dilapidated downtown property into a completely re-imagined greenspace public park. Key features of the park are an expansive outdoor amphitheatre along with a wall of cascading water and fountains. The project scope included demolition of existing structures, grading, storm drainage, decorative retaining walls and water fountains, an outdoor pavilion and existing building renovations.

Project Scope: Trehel provided construction services for a new two-story Tudor style facility. The new “clubhouse” building features steel frame construction with a concrete second floor and wood roof trusses with wood stud infill. There are multiple offices on each level within the interior space, a large gathering area, conference rooms, and two commercial kitchens.
The project featured extensive site work and the removal of 3,148 cubic yards of rock before beginning construction. Additional site work also featured underground detention along with expanded parking for staff and commercial transit vehicles.

Project Scope: The Mill expansion project included a new modern two-story addition containing worship, multiple gathering spaces, and various classroom spaces. Amenities and features for the 2,046-seat sanctuary, included special consideration in the design process related to sightlines for each seat, theatrical lighting, custom-designed sound system and acoustics, and 60′ wide LED projection screen. Scope of work for the project also included state-of-the-art classrooms, small group areas, flexible meeting space, expansive two-level gathering space called “The Concourse” and extensive sitework for expanded parking.

Project Scope: Trehel provided construction services for the Leed Silver certified 54,685 square-foot mixed-use facility. Amenities for the facility include the Mungo Center for Professional Excellence Suite, advanced technology classrooms, a large meeting space and the open-air Grand Galleria, a deli-style café and small food market. The upper two levels of the structure feature four-bedroom loft apartments that house 80 senior students. This facility was the fifth phase that Trehel has completed for the Wofford College Student Village since 2006. The Village features student housing and other amenities in a neighborhood-style complex consisting of mixed-style dwellings.

Project Scope: Trehel Corporation served as the Design/Build General Contractor for the project and provided design and construction services for a new 51,000 square-foot addition to the existing facility. One of the many challenges of the project was managing an aggressive schedule during a period of prolonged weather delays while maintaining plant operations during the construction phase.
