The expansion and renovation project for Covenant United Methodist located in Greer, SC, was a two-phase approach that consisted of a sanctuary expansion and a new standalone 17,491 square-foot, two-story education building. The scope of work for the sanctuary expansion included adding 300 new seats and constructing new restroom facilities.
Features of the education building include a small kitchen, restrooms, and multiple classrooms on each level. The upper floor also contains a large meeting and multi-purpose space. The building will be utilized for both Sunday school classes and the preschool programs operated and managed by the church.
Christine Tedesco, owner of RSCT Architecture + Design provided architectural design services for the project. Our Trehel construction project team consisted of Jack Weber, Senior Project Manager, VP of Project Management, Trampis Beatty, Project Engineer, and Don Underwood serving as Senior Project Superintendent.
