John Weber, a former Trehel assistant superintendent, has recently embarked on an incredible adventure. Over the next few months, he plans to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. The 2,650-mile journey will encompass many of the unique terrains of the Western landscape.
As detailed in a description of the trail from the Pacific Crest Trail Association’s website, “It reveals the beauty of the desert, unfolds the glaciated expanses of the Sierra Nevada, travels deep forests, and provides commanding vistas of volcanic peaks in the Cascade Range. The trail symbolizes everything there is to love—and protect—in the Western United States.” (www.pcta.org)
We will continue to post photos and updates from John’s hike as information becomes available. On behalf of our Trehel team members, we wish John a safe and successful journey! (Incidentally, John completed the 2,180-mile Appalachian Trail in 2014.)
